Led Zeppelin biography
private jets、hotels、drugs、sex、violence、occult fascination、touring power、tragedy。
Hammer of the Godsが残したdistortionの一つは、必ずしもfalse anecdoteではなくproportionのproblemである。
Willie Dixon、traditional material、Anne Bredonの"Babe I'm Gonna Leave You"、Jake Holmesの"Dazed and Confused"は、それぞれlegal / historical relationshipが異なり、"Zeppelin stole everything"にも、同じくらいuselessな"everybody borrowed"にもflattenできない。
Hammer of the Godsはnarrative / cultural impactのためvaluableなままだが、specific songwriting attributionにはnewer specialist evidenceが必要である。
Hammer of the Godsはそのspaceをenthusiastically埋めた。
Hammer of the Godsがpowerfulになった理由の一つがtimingだった。 したがってsensational biographyが多くのreaderにとって初めてのlong version of the storyになり得た。
publisher materialは2007 O2 reunion、surviving membersのlater activity、Robert PlantとAlison Kraussのwork、updated discographyまでchronologyを伸ばす。
