About This Album
The Oracle Has No Mouth is a 1968-style concept album about an unexplained transmission beneath ordinary reality. The source is never identified as technological, supernatural, extraterrestrial or psychological. What matters is the growing awareness of a hidden layer in which space, time, perception, people and machinery stop behaving normally.
“The Signal Goes On” introduces a presence older than its listeners. “Through the Glass Machine” crosses into the hidden layer; “The Room Without Corners” removes normal geometry, and “Seven Seconds Behind” lets sound and movement fall out of time. “The Engine Sleeps Upright” suggests a mechanism beneath events without explaining it.
“Everyone Became Transparent” turns the disturbance inward: streets, rooms, memories and unspoken words become visible inside human bodies. The title track gathers the earlier motifs into a cryptic ritual of seven windows, seven doors, mirrors, footsteps and remembered identity. Its final message—“You were not brought here / You were remembered”—resolves nothing.

Sound Palette
Circular bass figures, fuzz and tremolo guitar, 12-string chime, bowed textures, Hammond and Farfisa organ, harmonium, electric piano, vibraphone, primitive oscillators and loose late-1960s percussion create a hypnotic but deliberately varied sequence.
Saturated tape, spring reverb, tape echo, phasing, backwards guitar, feedback, stereo movement and unstable tape speed keep the record raw and human. Sparse mantras gradually open into melodic singing, layered voices and the oracle’s deep prophetic delivery.
Archive Notes
The record begins with repetition as reassurance and ends with repetition as prophecy. Signals continue without an answer; doors lead nowhere; rooms exist inside faces; machinery operates without visible motion. Each track makes the familiar world slightly less dependable.
The ambiguity is intentional. The oracle’s identity, the nature of the signal and the meaning of being “remembered” remain unresolved. No named location, machine, diagnosis or supernatural explanation closes the circuit.
Lyrics
All seven tracks retain their original English lyrics. Several contain long instrumental passages; no verse, chorus, production or performance labels have been added.
There is a signal Under the sound There is a signal Going around I hear it turning I hear it turn I hear it turning But nothing burns It goes on It goes on It goes on It goes on Out past the color Out past the air Something is moving Something is there No one is speaking No one replies Still it keeps turning Behind my eyes It goes on It goes on It goes on It goes on Closer Closer Closer Closer Round and around Round and around Round and around Round and around There was a signal Before we came There will be a signal After our names Nothing can hold it Nothing can know Still it is turning Still it will go It goes on It goes on It goes on It goes on
Through the glass Through the glass Something moves Something moves Not a face Not a name Only light In the frame Pass through Pass through Pass through Pass through Don't look back Don't look back Every line Bends again Every door Has no end Move inside Move between What is real What is seen Pass through Pass through Pass through Pass through Further Further Further Further Through the glass Through the glass Through the glass Through the glass
No walls No doors No end No floor Turn slow Turn slow I came in I never arrived Still inside Still inside
I heard my footsteps After I had gone I heard the doorway Closing with no one Every sound followed Every shape replied Always seven seconds Seven seconds behind Behind Behind Behind
The engine sleeps upright Under a painted sky No wheel is turning Still we are passing by Keep your hands open Let every number fall Something beneath us Is carrying us all I felt the room lean I watched the shadows climb Nothing was moving Except the shape of time No one was calling No one was standing near Still through the silence Something was drawing us here Turn without turning Move without leaving Wake without waking Breathe without breathing Turn without turning Move without leaving
Everyone became transparent Somewhere after half past three I could see the chairs behind them I could see straight through the street Cars went rolling through their bodies Birds flew through the people too No one seemed to find it strange there No one noticed I could view I can see through everyone I can see through everyone All the colors running through them All the places they have gone I can see through everyone I can see through everyone Mrs. Carter crossed the crossing With the houses in her chest Someone laughed behind a window But the window had no glass Every stranger held a hallway Every face contained a room There were stairways in their fingers There were gardens in their shoes I can see through everyone I can see through everyone All the colors running through them All the places they have gone I can see through everyone I can see through everyone Then somebody looked straight at me And I knew what they could see Every word I never answered Every place I meant to be Every door I closed behind me Every name I tried to lose All of it was hanging in me Like a coat I couldn't choose Evening came without a warning And the walls grew solid first Then the tables, then the people Then the pavement and the birds Soon the whole world looked familiar Every surface back in place But the woman by the station Still had daylight through her face I can see through everyone I can see through everyone Maybe only for a moment Maybe it was never gone I can see through everyone I can see through everyone Through everyone Through everyone Through everyone Through everyone
Do not ask the river Where the water goes Do not ask the doorway What the darkness knows It knows It knows There are seven windows Behind the morning sun Six of them are empty One contains everyone Everyone Everyone When the red bird circles Do not speak your name When the white room opens Do not enter twice the same Not the same Not the same You will hear a footstep Before the foot arrives You will see a shadow That has never been alive You will find a mirror Facing through the wall If it shows you nothing You have seen it all Seen it all Seen it all The first door is silence The second door is sound The third door has no handle The fourth is underground The fifth door is breathing The sixth door knows your face The seventh door is open But it does not lead to a place No place No place When the engine stops Do not move When the voices stop Do not listen When the light goes out Look behind you You were not brought here You were remembered Remembered Remembered Remembered
