About This Album
A System Without Voices is a twelve-track instrumental progressive rock album presented as a 1975 analog-space transmission. With no vocals and no literal message, the record uses movement, tension and recurring musical ideas as its language.
Hammond organ, Mellotron, Moog-style synthesizer, clean and textural electric guitar, warm analog bass and live drums form the main palette. Tape echo, spring reverb, signal noise and subtle saturation give the sequence its worn, tactile character.
The tracks are designed to flow as one journey. Motifs return altered, sections develop instead of settling into fixed loops, and the instrumental balance gradually moves away from a familiar progressive rock lineup toward abstraction and texture.

System Phases
Tracks 1–3 · Establishing the system. The opening phase uses a classic progressive rock setup, with Hammond organ, electric guitar and Moog-style synthesizer sharing the lead role.
Tracks 4–6 · Moving into signal space. Synthesizers become more prominent, guitar recedes and signal-like textures begin to reshape the record’s sound.
Tracks 7–9 · Instability. Dissonant synthesizers, warped Mellotron textures and less predictable drum movement introduce the album’s most unsettled phase.
Tracks 10–12 · Beyond structure. In the closing stretch, the instruments function increasingly as textures and forces rather than as a conventional rock ensemble.
Instrumental Album
There is no lyrics section because the album contains no vocals. Its project notes explicitly frame sound itself as the communication: recurring motifs, changing timbres and the continuous flow between tracks carry the concept.
